The Spinach Festival

Under the auspices of the Lenexa Parks and Recreation Department, the arts council supports Lenexa’s annual Spinach Festival which takes place in early September each year. This event is designed to showcase the City’s early days as the “Spinach Capital of the World”! Council members serve as volunteers for the event.
